Talking Which changes in game mechanics would make you laugh the most (in the first moment)

This is a thread where you can fantasize to your hearts content about which changes in the game mechanique would surprize the most players and would probably cause the most Hertattack per ragequit per least effort at trying to "Improve the game experience";

For me it would be the situation that someone at Anet comes to the perfectly logical conclusion that giant blocks of Jade can hurt Baby turtles and players in the mission Gayla Hatchery.

The consequence would be loads of players raging about ages spent carefully running around killing everything in the back way method and then ending up with Turtle Puree before the babies get to move one step.

Actually, it happened already a while back. A skill accidentally allowed players to copy enemy Monster skills. Very amusing things could be done, like Turtle sieging right back at 'em.

Of course, it could also be fun if monsters got our PvE skills for a bit

Heroes with PvE skills.

I'd actually be okay with letting heroes have a single PvE skill that the PC has obtained. It'd be fun but admittedly pretty broken. I'd crack up if I saw they were putting that function in though.

I don't mind 6v6, but the maps need some changing to accommodate the smaller parties. Cutting out 16 skill slots reduces a lot of a build's ability to pack all the counters they need. This is good & bad. Good because it forces builders to critically examine their build& & choose carefully. It's bad because it rapidly devolves into build wars. Oh, hexes? We didn't have room for hex removal. /resign

All the maps were designed for 8 players. Some maps require things like protecting a priest/hero and also to capture an object as well as protecting your team's object. This is particularly more difficult with 2 fewer team members.

All AoE skills affect all targets in target areas.

Leapfrog skills.

That's right, skills that let you leap over someone's back.

It'd be awesome.

Quick question, OP. I don't really get your example. Probably because I haven't done Gyala in a while, but which giant blocks of jade are you talking about?

Also, for me, it'd be Paras having to go pick up their spear each time they chuck it.
That'd make me chuckle when people first notice it.

That is awesome. They could make rangers run out of arrows as well if they don't pull them out!

To protect the wee turtles from getting killed, you can point the Siege Turtles to aim their cannons (which are shooting giant blocks of jade or something) right at them. Because there is no friendly fire, the little turtles won't get killed, though any Kurzick getting close to them will.

- Minipet fighting each other based on some 'allegiance'.
- "I'm Out Of Ammo!" shout, for rangers and paragons.
- Friendly fire AoE.

Weapons/armour breaking after x amount of hits. I don't want to see it but I can imagine the raging :P

Different merchants offering you different prices i.e. dye merchant in KC offering you more than in Shing Jea when selling an item.

If you don't clean your armor and bathe, merchants charge you more.

I even proposed friendly fire for GW2 on GW2G some time ago and got badly flamed for a stupid idea. It would be cool even in GW1, and quite easily exploitable to kill mobs by themselves.

I would love to see them implement small changes that will be the way they are in GW2.
For example, casters = no ability to use shields, no half armor, no nothing, with a popup message that says this item cannot be used by your class. You want to be a ?/w that's fine, but "no shield for you". That I would laugh at and likely pee myself over.

For the sake of easier balancing things up, i'd like to see the secondary's power restricted, though not in the terms of equipment, but skills.
Max ~6 points in a secondary class attribute, max 2-3 skills from secondary class, the elite has to be from your primairy. That'd shake the game too much though, i think.
